I'm hoping to go back to Wasp next year, but I'm a little torn. Not sure if I should use the Drone or the Boss. Both seem to be awesome broadheads from what I've seen in videos and reviews. I want one that has the best penetration, strength, and is as close to field point accurate as possible. I know that they are both known for that, but is one better than the other? Has anyone ever tested and compared the two?

Never shot the boss but I recently switched to drones and they shoot right with my field points out to 60 yards. Have not shot farther with them yet but im confident they would go to any range

Haven't shot the Boss but a big fan of the Drones. I've been tuning with one and that thing is still sharp after being shot into a Rhinehart 18-1 at least 20 times.

At 100 grains I would use the BOSS.
At 125 grains I would definitely use the Drone.

There is a lot less ferule supporting the blades on the 100 grain Drones and I've heard of some blade retention issues with that weight.

Very good advice, Olink. Thank you. I think I may go with the Boss then, where I shoot a 100gr head. :thumbs_up
