Hay guys been awhile since ive been on my girlfriend and i are just home from a water buff hunt in the northern territory both were successful on good bulls spot and stalk under 20m and i also managed a old scrub bull.

My good buff


Emmas big buff


My old scrub bull


Me set up for a morning walk back up rifle included


Bull backstrap. We brought approximately 200lb of meat home


Buttferflyed back strap stuffed with garlic parsley and mushrooms wrapped in bacon


This ive the hot springs where we bathed :)

Man that's awesome!! How does the meat taste? Like beef?

How does one store 200lbs of meat lol!
We have 3 freezers running all full of venison and buffalo lol. And the meat is amazing mate a lot like beef but so much better

Nice hunt. How many can you take a year.
Their a feral pest so not season or bag limits we can hunt deer and all ferals year round. The problem with buff is their of traditional owned land so u need to pay the local aboriginals for access

what type of set up did you and your gal shoot to take down those beasts.?
I am short draw by DNA and light weight shooter by injury shoulder
Hoping to tackle the bigger beats some day

Im only a little bloke at 152lb but im shooting a bowtech invasion @ 74lb 27.5dl. emmas shooting a bowtech experience at 65lb 27dl both were plenty with emma hitting ribs on both hers and still sinking then to the wrap. I shot mine front on between the whites and my arrow disappeared. Both shooting 600g widowmaker 300 spine arrows and 175 solids. I personally wouldn't shoot a arrow lighter then that

Awesome! I'm grilling hot dogs here and your grilling water buffalo backstraps from beasts killed by bow lol. Congrats!
