I went to a 3D shoot in New Mexico up in Santa fe (500 mile one way trip). Anyhow saturday morning I was shooting at the practice bales and after I was done I gave my bow a look over and that is when I noticed it. My bottom limb had a crack about 1/2 inch long it was up by the cam. I thought heck the shoot hasn't started and I drove 500 miles. I went ahead and shot the competition ( I had a brand new Tribute but I sold it because I figured I would never need it
) I checked it after every shot to make sure it wasny getting bigger. I know a lot of people are thinking what an idiot why did I keep shooting it. Well I made it through 3d shoot after the first day a couple of guys told me to crank it down which I did for the second day. I need to call a dealer and see if I can get a new limdb in by friday cause there is 3d shoot coming up this weekend and this will be my last one, because I leave for the big sand box in 2 1/2 weeks. So yeah this really sucks. I know I haven't mentioned the bow and I don't want this to turn into a bashing thread but it is a 06 Allegiance I have had it for 6 months and it is my fault I have been shooting the bare minimum for 3d shoots 340 gr arrows and the bow is at 66 lbs. There was Bow-tech dealer at the shoot and he said if I lived in Santa fe he could of had limb's in by weds. He said bow-tech would take care of it. So going to call them this morning and hopefully they will listen to my SOB story
If I had 700 bucks to burn I go buy another allegiance so I wouldn't have to worry about.
When I get a chance I will take a picture of it and post it. Again this is not a bashing I really like this bow.
