What am I doing to hit high

Seems like recently when shooting I picked up a bad habit and will have some shots hitting higher than my aiming point and not grouping. What am I doing wrong?

+1 for try to slow down the shot

Furthermore, you maybe pull inconsistently into the wall - check you (your shot process) and for “creep tuning” (your bow, when you want to cure it mechanically)

Then a too low back elbow may lead to a pulling down of the release hand during the shot execution, so the arrow points upwards even more - especially when you rush the shot.

Agree with all above and would like to add what works for me:

is your peep sized correctly? I have a 28” ATA bow and a 29.5” DL and have the largest peep I could find. The circle of the peep fits perfectly for the circle of the sight. If yours doesn’t, maybe try a larger (or smaller) peep.

Also, when aiming, try to focus your eyes on the bulls eye and your brain will naturally draw the pin to it. A lot of people focus their eyes on the pin and try to line it up with the bullseye.

Lastly, i don't shoot groups. I only shoot one arrow at a time. This lets my muscles relax and achieve stasis before taking another shot so that my muscles have a chance torelax and my. muscle memory is not conditioned in a fatigued state.

Many good suggestions, but I would closely assess your bow hand at full draw. If you have slowly shifted your contact point with the riser to lower in your hand...or 'heeling' the bow...that could easily account for unexpected results. If your sight wiggled loose or your bow is out of time, it would not shoot well some shots and abruptly not. Those are indicators of a consistent pattern of changing impact point, not random events.
