Just wondering...... where has PSE cut some costs on the Bow Madness line of bows ?

Do they have Bearings or Bushings in the cam and idler ?

Is the limb material different between them and the Pro Series X-Force bows ?

Are the limb pockets different than the Pro Series bows ? cast or machined ?

I'm pretty sure the riser IS machined aluminum and not cast correct ?

Thanks,
fz

bow madness

no the riser is cast then machined to final, thats why they xforce cams are not a good idea on the b.m.xl and why they won't put them on there cuz to much stress on the riser

risers are not cast

They are extruded.....TOTALLY different.....basically, they machine 1 large block to profile....then cut many risers out of the one piece, and machiine them individually.
But the string upgrade on the Proseries, as well as no limb dampeners, cable guard dampeners, etc.. all add up to money saved.....that and the speed of the Pro Series adds to their "percieved value".....think of it this way....the manufacture of an Omen does not cost much more (save DL specific cams) than any other Pro Series hunting bows......but they cost a bit more......more speed = higher price tag.

Does anyone know if the royalties on a One Cam are still applicable.....even so.....they are probably less than they are for a Hybrid.
It all adds up.
