4" Feathers with fixed blade heads. I use feathers because thats what i've always used with fixed blades and i've never had a problem with that combination.

Blazers

Iuse the 2" Blazer vanes. They steer Broadheads very well and are about 3-6 gr. lighter than 4" plastic vanes which helps FOC, They are pretty Tough too.

I was shooting 4-fletch blazers, but I ran out and the local shop doesn't carry them so I picked up some 3" AAE elites. I'm debating going back to 4" feathers though b/c the gateway barred feathers just look so cool.

Thanks,
Rick

This will be my second year of using the 2" blazers with my set up, they are light weight, durable, and steer my BHs very well.

Feathers are lighter

4" feathers with helical fletching because I shoot fixed blade heads from a prong style rest and they stabilze my arrows very well and I get great groups.
Ditto. Plus feathers help with the weight forward ratio of my lightweight arrow set up.

2" Blazers. I shoot them with field points and with fixed blade broadheads (Muzzy 4 Blade). My POI is the same with either head, the vanes are tough and withstand alot of practice without getting torn up, and believe it or not, I think they are quieter than the 4" vanes I used to shoot.

Another vote for the 2" Blazers for all the reasons listed above, their tough and guide any b-head I've tried.
