The other thread pretty well stated that "blood trailing lights" are not good. So what is good? I have a Surefire flashlight, a propane lantern, a mag light, an LED headlight and a couple others.

What is the best light to use for blood trailing?

I use a Coleman lantern with foil covering the side of the globe close to me. Works great and dosent blind you.:darkbeer:

+1 on the lantern I keep a propane one in the truck they put out more light than any flashlight other then maybe a cordless spotlight
