I have a wind checker that is a small bottle that you squeeze and the white powder puffs out so that you caqn see the wind direction. Mine is now empty and I want to refill it. What is the powder in the bottles? I do not think it is baking soda, but it is unscented. I would like to know so i can refill it and keep using it because it is a very easy and effective way to keep tabs on the wind.

Tie a piece of dental floss on the end of your stabilizer.

That way you can check wind direction without moving.
