Wouldn't it be the Z7 cam ?!? I certainly haven't shot a Mathews that was smoother and produced that kind of speed!

Minimax cam

Minimax cam is the best Mathews has ever made.

The original Maxcam is my favourite Mathews cam due to its decent wall and 1 inch in draw length adjustment in 1/4 inch slots.

I vote for the cam that was on the LX, then the minimax, then Apex.

I like the Mini Max cam. The Apex cam was a little faster and had a harder wall. I'm happy shooting either of these.

LX and ovation had the HP cam if I remember correctly. That would be my vote with the max cam next. The mini never did me any good because it does not go long enough. For short draw it was supposed to be the cats meow.

I find it interesting that many of us chose the LX/Ovation cam. I spoke with Derek Phillips a few months ago and asked why they had not coninued on with that type of draw stop. He said that it was not that well received compared to their traditional draw stop.

This just goes to show that we actually represent a very small, though fanatical, segment of the bow manufacturers target audience. Interesting...
