Lots of opinions on this question. Kinda depends on what you like out of your set up. Two of the bows I'd look at are the Elite Pure and the PSE Supra. They both have enough speed to do well in 3D's, silky smooth draws that are easy to hold, and longer ATA's of 36" and 37". Both bows are winners................

Go out and shoot everything that interests you. Personally I think it is a good idea to look at bows that have a long brace height and long ATA. Most of my experience is with BowTech's so I am going to suggest the BowTech Specialist and the Insanity CPXL. The CPXL is really not that long but it is a very nice bow and will work well as a target bow as well as a hunting bow. The Specialist is a great all around bow.
