I’ve been using mechanicals for a few years now and figured id switch it up this year. I know Muzzy is an obvious contender but I wanted to see what other people prefer as well.

I'm using Afflictor K2 this year.
Have used Qad exodus and G5 Striker V2 with great results in the past. Plenty of other good choices out there.

Got some RAD DelMastro and some Slick Trick Vipertrick heads. Both fly well and are very sharp.

Got some old school Muzzy Phantoms my Dad had when he passed and they fly great. Hadn’t had much luck with the new ones though.

Original muzzy 4 blade and QAD Exodus.

Back when K-Mart was going out of business they had packs of 4 blade Muzzy's on clearance for like $4.00/ 6 pack. I think I got 10 packs or so (bought them all). I'm down to the last two broadheds from that buy.

I used Exodus last year and they were good heads.

Normally shoot Rage Hypodermics, but went on a Greenland muskox hunt last year and mechanicals were not allowed. Ended up using Slick Trick Magnums. They tuned great out of my Elite Enkore and performed exceptionally well…..I therefore stuck with them for the Illinois whitetail season and will be using them again this year. In fact, already started off my season with a Texas Axis deer last May. Still have my backup bow ready, though, setup with Rage Hypodermics.

I'm using Montec 125 grains. I prefer a 4 blade 2 large/2 small design, but these are a good compromise and were in stock a few years ago so they're what I have. They fly well from my compound and my longbow so only need 1 type of broadhead. Factory sharp is meh, so if you get them prepare to sharpen.

Im giving the Kudu 100 a try on my traditional setup, and the annihilator 100 XL on my compound setup this season for elk. So far, I have been very impressed with the flight of the annihilator. I've heard good things on the exodus as well.

VPA, you pick 2 or 3 blade and a broad range of weights. All made from one piece of solid tool steel in Ft. Wayne, Indiana USA. Exceptional quality, fly great and can be re-sharpened.

TOTA, Trophy Taker A-Tac or Shuttle-T, German Jager.....all have been extensively test shot and used to kill game except the GJ's. For turkeys I use NAP Spitfires. All 100gr by the way.
