I am 58 now but i bought a Shakespeare fiberglass recurve bow when I was only 15 years old. I paid $50.00 for it.
I just got the bow out and want to take up archery again. The bow measures 51" long. Below the handle on the belly side can be read:
"45#
c11793t
52"
What size string do i buy? What length arrows do I use?

Buy a recurve string for a 52" Bow. To check your draw length use the Wing Span method. Measure your wing span aganist a flat surface tip to tip. Take that minus 15" and divide that figure by 2. That will put you right in the ball park for your correct draw length.

jusr ask for a string for a 52" bow. arrows ect.. idk still trying to figure that out for myself

if the bow is 51'' then you need a string that is 3'' shorter. So a 48'' string.
