Switched from a drop away to a CBE X4 on my target rig and loving it. Micro adjustable and has a dovetail mount so I have 2 of them that I switch for different arrows sizes making it easy to use one bow for indoor spot, 3d and field without having to spend time tuning in between each round.

I am using an AAE Pro Blade on my target bows. I have a QAD Hunter rest on my hunting bow only because it came with it.

When I had two bows, 3d and spot, DS advantage. Still the best blade rest IMO.
Now I'm down to one bow, so Spott Hogg edge swap.
Switch from 27 to 23 series arrows easily, change rest and change scope/lens.

Are you really more accurate with blade vs drop offs?

Started off with AAE Freakshow, then went to Hamskea Hybrid Target.

Are dropaway more accurate than Fixed Blade? I don't think so. I am no more or less accurate with one or the other. As long as your shot execution is consistent, there shouldn't be any accuracy difference.

AAE Freakshow with a standard .10 blade. Works great with 23 & 27 size shafts... spots outside I run a Freak Blade.

Generally, no. Put them both in a mechanical shooting machine and they will both produce very tight groups.

A blade rest is just simpler and easier to fix quickly if it breaks (just screw a new one on).

I just put a Vapor Trail Gen 7 on my Mamba 38, and it seems to be just as consistent as my fixed rest (Firenock Aerorest Micro).
