The IBO rated speed for this bow is 315 FPS.That would be shooting 70 pounds with a 30 inch draw and arrows wieghing 350 grains. If your arrows only weigh in at 284 grains you are only shooting 4.057 grains per pound and this is a recipe for disaster.

Elf Friend is right. With your arrow weight your shooting, you should be a little faster than that, but enjoy it while you can. Your looking at problems, and id bet your bow is quite noisy and wants to just jump out of your hands. Weight your arrows up and you'll have a much quieter and stable bow. Speed doesnt kill for me, stability and quietness is where its at.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean about disaster? I ask because I shoot 25" 288.5 grain arrows for 3D at 60lbs (Carbon Express Predator 2000):nervous s

12 grains won't hurt you or your bow. Plus if your draw is that short that you need to shoot an arrow a little under five grains to get to some decent speed that is ok. In fact somewhere there is an AMO chart that shows the minimum arrow weight for ecah draw length.

Thanks. I'll have to look for that chart. It should be interesting.
My draw length is actually 27.5, but the Muzzy rest sits behind the riser and acts like an overdraw.
