I have 92safari's press and have been really happy with it, it looks similar to the LCA but the fingers have more adjustment. It was about the same price as the ez-green best i remember, maybe cheaper, i can't remember i got it 5 or 6 years ago.
I bought it unfinished and then painted it and plasti dipped the fingers. It does everything I need.

I use a Bow Time Machine. Nicest press I have ever used BUT it can take a bit of time to change between bows sometime. That is it's only drawback. It is also a drawboard so that saves some money.

There is nothing wrong with an EZ Green. I just think those presses, like everything LCA makes, is a bit overpriced. Damned fine stuff but costly.

Same experienced perspective here. Since I have two bows of the same brand, model and year, there is no need to fuss around changing things. The integrated draw board feature is a bargain.....plus the fact that many of us use them vertically so they take up less room. BTM for me all the way.

I use both an EX Green and a Specialty Archery Pro Press.
The EZ Green ain't bad, faster but that's about it. Need to spend the extra $250 for the ultra lock adapters for some bows. Still about $200 cheaper than the Pro Press.
The Pro Press is the one I use the most as I also have the Pro Draw draw board for it, makes tuning easy peasy. Any bow fits, no need for extra adapters or special fingers.

For the average guy, the EZ Green is fine. If you want the best, go with a Pro Press.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 92Safari press either, I used his fingers on my home built press and they were great quality. I've never used his press, but I have never heard a complaint about one either.

If either my Xpress pro or EZ give up the ghost, EZ already has once and I rebuilt it with acme rod, it'll be the Bow-A-Constrictor.

I've had the EZ Green for about a year and a half and no complaints about the press. I also purchased the draw board option to use with it and it recently died on me. The ratchet mechanism doesn't engage and hold the bow at full draw. The press is lightweight and simple to mount.

I have the E Z Green (about 4 years old) with a ArcheryDezins draw board. No issues. If the thread fails, i will fix it. They have a warranty and from what I have heard all were taken care of, some just like to whine. The others are a lot more expensive!

Same here, absolutely love my EZ Green and Archery Dezign DB. Super fast, super easy to use, easy to go from one bow to the next and probably the least expensive full size press you can get. If I did buy a new press it would be a Bow-A-Constrictor or 92 Safari. I don't see that happening though, the EZ Green has been perfect for working on my bows as well as a few friends bows.

I've used a 92Safari press for the past 4 years and like it really well.
It's like an EZ Green press on steroids.
It's a bit more expensive than the EZ Green but has fingers that are more adjustable, is built of heavier steel, offers a caution bar to prevent your bow from crashing to the floor, and has a much stronger worm driven gear.
It's a press that should easily last your lifetime and those you pass it down to.

Big fan of the Bow Time Machine and Bowa press also.
The Spike press is awesome too if you can afford it.

When I received mine a year and a half ago, I noticed a manufacturing defect. I called them and they asked me to send them pictures of the issue. They reviewed the pictures and agreed it was a defect and not caught before shipping. They sent me a new press and a return label so all I has to do was ship the faulty unit back to them. They sent me a free bow scale for my inconvenience. Yes its a couple bucks but they stepped up. IMO they stood behind their product 100% and went above by sending a freebie for my inconvenience.

Buy a bow-a and you won't have to worry about adapters. It will press any bow including crossbows. Plus you can get the quick draw attachment that allows you to draw the bow back from a pressed position. This makes for quick work when timing or yoke tuning. Plus Frank will always take care of you with the best customer service in archery.

Thanks for the input. I ordered EZ green from FULCRUM ARCHERY . They answered all my questions and have them on sale right now.. The reason i went this way is for upgrades down the road. I figure there enough of these out there that they will make adapters for in new bows, like they did with hoyt. i know it sucks to by adapters but at least they made them. I see most buyers where happy, cross my fingers and hope i get a good one, if not I guess we will see how LCA customer service is.

LCA Deluxe with stand and LCA drawboard. I really like the ability to pivot my bow in the press as it more or less eliminates the need for a bow vice and it is put together a bit better than the EZ Green..
