I'm not sure there is a best.As long as the belt is designed to hold your weight and your comfortable with it.It should work.Some safety harness have them built right into the harness,such as the Loggy Bayou.

If you have not used one yet.They make a world of difference when you put up hanging stands.

I have some friends that use the tie down strap with the clamps as their belt. I use my prusik knot/loop on a 9' line and can wrap it around just about any size tree. As long as you keep a little pressure on it it will not slip.
