I bought a new prime a month and a half ago and I didn't get a hat, the dealer said they would mail them, so I waited for about three weeks and nothing, so I called prime and asked and they said they would be mailing it out the next week, never recieved it, I think that it is really crappy that they are forcing you to register your bow to get a hat then don't send it to you, my friends all got there Hoyt hats and so one from there new purchases, and I buy a 1000$ plus bow from prime and don't even get a hat, anyone else have a problem receiving there hat? May not be that big of a deal to some people but I've gotten a hat with all my bow purchases and Im always proud to wear it, it's just part of buying a new bow to me, a part that prime is screwing me out of, i guess this was more of a rant than a question but I would like to know if everyone else is getting there hats.
 
Did you go online and register your bow when you got home? I got a hat when I bought the bow. I then registered online and got a black box in the mail a few weeks later. It had another hat, sticker, string lube, and some brochures in it. Good luck getting your hat.
 
When I registered online I received a black box with all the goodies in it from the company. I bet you will get the same thing if you take a minute and register it yourself. Good luck...at the worst call them and I am sure they will take care of you!!
 
My bow shop registered mine at the shop also. You have to take the 5 minutes to register online yourself to get the black box goodies. Shop should have given you a hat to begin with unless Prime changed their policy. You should be made at the shop not Prime.
 
Go back to post #5 and follow the process as described by a Prime buyer who got their hat. All my Primes were purchased used, but a couple friends have gone through the process and got their "black box". It is specific to Prime, so what another bow maker does is not relevant.

I registered almost 2 weeks ago
what's the average wait time ?
 
Sounds like some of you guys need to find a new dealer.
 
I have bought two Prime bows in the past two years and have received the "black box" each time. I have registered both on-line using the Prime website registration tab and both were delivered in around three weeks time. I did also receive a hat from my dealer for the first one but refused on the second as you can only wear so many hats ;-)
maybe it is different if you have your dealer register???
 
I bought my bow 2 years ago, registered it online within a week. I recieved a letter in the mail thanking me for my purchase & confirming my registration....no hat, no stickers, no string lube & no black box. I called Prime a couple times but I'm still waiting to receive my black box of goodies. Been 2 years now & still waiting.....
