This pic was taken on my families farm in East Ky. Its the biggest buck I have ever seen there. I have never taken a P&Y buck, this may be my first if all goes well. And if he make the 125" min. I will only take him with a bow. I rifle hunt to take a doe or 2and to be visible to keep other people off the property.

How old do you think he is?
What will he score?
If he makes it another year how much bigger will he be?

I'm guessing he'll be 3 1/2 this fall

I'm thinking he'll net score in the mid 130's

I think he'll be a beast of a 4x4 "IF" he makes it another year.

Best of luck with him this fall.

2 1/2 years old

About 3 1/2 years old will score 140 or better.

Will really score high at 4 1/2, but I don't know too many guys that would let him walk if they had the 20 yard pin on his vitals... :zip:

he will get bigger if he walks. but hard to let that one just walk by if that is your biggest. if you get more pics of him closer to season and decide to let him live at least one more year, dont hunt him. try to avoid him or you wont be able to resist the temptation when its go time and your heart is pounding. whatever you choose its is your choice and good luck with your season.

Very Nice pictures.....If you can hold him in your property with food or anything else I'd let one more year......if you can's well do what you gotta do before someone else does! I know for a fact I don't think I would be able to let him walk if got a pin on him....even though I know letting him walk would be best! You know how that goes!!!

Heres a little bigger pic.

I'm guessing in the 130's, great pic, & yes I'd drive an arrow through him the first chance I'd get.:) Too many variables like; he gets killed by a car, another hunter, poached , or vacates your area to consider letting him slide til next year. :rock-on:

I took a 120's 3.5 last year, and have wondered all off season if I should have let him walk. He met our self imposed limit, but I have yet to break that 150 mark. Maybe by letting them walk I would see some on our property. It is just so dang hard when your pin is on them.
