Which Bee Stinger stabilizer to buy?

Any thoughts on a 6"-8" hunting stabilizer from Bee Stinger? Looking at the MicroHex, Sport Hunter Xtreme, and the Pro Hunter MAXX. Has anyone compared them or have any input? Thanks!

What do you plan to use them for? If it’s just hunting the sport hunter works well. I use an 8” front stab and a 6” back for hunting and for leagues. With all the weight I have on them they stay under the 20” max for hunter class. I really like them as they are very versatile.

If you want improved accuracy from stabilization you’re going to need a 10” bar minimum, 12 would be better. You have to put a lot of weight on an 8” bar to get the equivalent leverage of a reasonable weight on a 12” bar. I’ve had good experiences with all of the bee stinger bars. Try them if you can on your bow and see if one feels better than the other to you.

the bad thing about stabilizers if you try it you buy it. I have a 12" counterslide on one bow and a 15" counterslide on the other. they are expensive but not more expensive than a couple of setups already shown. the counterslide offsets the weight of you rest sight and maybe quiver. ihave not tried the micro hex version altho that may go on next rig

I'd look strongly at the offset bar. I saved a bunch of weight and the balance is just as good.

Microhex - best hunting stab on the market.

On mounting systems I agree with Bourbon Boy. Nobody beats bowfinger mounts but not true on the stab front - Microhex rules the roost. I run microhex front a back bars on both of my hunting bows using Bowfinger mounts and a rear microhex on my target bow with bowfinger mount (Stinger Premier 30" out front).

I have used the 10" MicroHex and Sport Hunter Xtreme stabilizers up front for hunting.

Both work for me, but I cannot notice a huge difference in hold or vibration dampening between the two. Perhaps a slight advantage with Microhex if I have to pick one, but it's very subtle.

The stabilizer is a ton of personal preference! I prefer a longer bar around 10 or 11 inches on my hunting bow. But some guys shoot for more compact while others like even longer. I personally wouldn’t add the weight of the MAXX kit but the sport hunter and micro hex sound like great options!

If you’re near a good pro shop they should let you try each out or at least the ones they stock!

I too like the Beestinger Counterslide for a compact hunting setup. I have the 15” and wouldn’t suggest getting anything shorter. A lot depends on bow/setup and personal preference. I’ve found this to be a great solution for balancing a bow and remain compact for hunting in a ground blind.
