Alright here's the deal. I have a Summit viper climber and love it. I need a good hang on stand that is comfortable enough to sit all day. I also don't want a little tiny seat like the baby gorilla, or a little tiny platform. I'm not too terribly worried about the cost and wieght isn't my biggest concern either.
Here is what I'm looking for:

1. Comfort
2. Large Seat, Platform
3. Quiet, solid construction

Any suggestions?

For lower cost and BIG AND COMFY.... you cannot be the Big Game Boss XL. They have a 24" X 30" platform, and a 18" wide, fold up seat with a 2" thick pad. The platform has an integral footrest.

I LOVED hunting outta that thing last year... felt like I had a dance floor up in the tree!!

They sell them at Bass Pro and Cabelas for $80.

If you want top shelf, go with the Lone Wolf Alpha and get a Gorilla seat pad and put on it! WOOOOO HOOOO baby!! That's also what I use.

Check out the new Summit deer deck, they come in 2 models, a light model and a larger one. The larger one has a bigger platform and is a little heavier!

And the new Summit Copperhead folds flat and has a thick, contoured seat that's very comfy. It's the same seat that's on my Summit Clearshot, basically the climbing version of the Copperhead. What's great about my Clearshot climber is that if necessary, I can use it as a hang-on. Gotta love versatility!

I Stick With Summit

A great product with even better customer service, Summit.

I use two Copperhead fixed stands along with their SwifTree climbing sticks. Both items are light and easy to move around our property.

I love my Lone Wolf but it's not the most comfortable stand by far. I have cheaper Gorilla stands that are much more comfortable than the LW.

Without a doubt, THE most comfortable hang-on stand I have EVER seen or sat in was this new Millennium stand!!! When I had the chance to see the stands first hand at the IL Deer & Turkey Classic, I was amazed at how well built these stands were and nothing compares to their comfort. They are also rock solid and silent! You've got to check 'em out. Cabela's has 'em for $199 and you can buy as many extra hang-on brackets as you'll ever need for around $20
