Hello all! I'm competing for my school and the state tourny is coming up in a month or two. Is it legal to use feathers for fetching? The plastic vanes are getting warped and torn and ripped all the time! Please help guys.
As the other poster said, only "3-inch" plastic vanes are allowed for NASP competition. I put "3-inch" in quotes because the acutal size is a little smaller than 3.

If you are having a lot of trouble with your fletch getting torn up, you MIGHT want to check your nocking point location, might be too low (or even too high) on the string. Should be about 1/2" above level.
