What I mean by serious is do you scout in preseason, practice with to know you equipment well, use trail cams(if you have them), determine movements patterns, pass small bucks, very cautious on your entrance and exits to and from stand, play the wind, and use scent control(at least wash your clothes with a type of hunting wash)

i shoot deer that i like. i let younger skinny bucks walk ( except my first gun deer. he had a broken shoulder and gore marks everywhere. so i put him down cause he could even walk good)

if it has a nice body ill shoot it. not a big horn hunter here. although a good set up horns is a plus.
