I have been looking more and more at G5's line of quest bows and really like what I see in the Rev. 7.5 brace, 324IBO flex slide cable system. Does G5 have their own production line, or is someone else making these bows for quest? Also how would you rank them compared to some of the other mid line bows such as the rampage XT, the assassin, so of mission's line up and such? I have had a TON of hunting bows over the last few years, and often wonder if for hunting I wouldn't be better served by one of the mid line bows, and save the CPXL's and Matrix types for the 3D course.

G5 makes their own bows. They are made in Michigan by G5, all machining and coating is done in house. They are a top notch company, quaility is second to none. Customer service is the best you can get. I dont work for them or have any connection to G5, I do own a Prime bow made by G5.

The Birth of Quest Lou Grace, along with his sons Matt and Nate, founded G5 Outdoors in 2000 to market what we thought was the proverbial "better mousetrap": an all-steel broadhead. In 2001, we introduced the Montec broadhead. The Montec is an all-steel 3 blade broadhead that was unlike anything else on the market at the time, and it remains one of our top-selling broadheads. In 2009, G5 introduced Quest Bowhunting to the archery world. Its mission was simple: to bring a bow built with the highest level of craftsmanship and quality the industry has seen for a good price.

I bet this guy works for G5!!!! but for real G5 is a great company that builds their bows in house, the do all the machining, dipping, and string making. G5 did all the machining and string making for Elite. G5 is a world class company.

I agree that G5 and Quest bows are top notch. In fact, now that Elite is no longer in their factory, I believe G5 bows are better than Elite.

Their bows shoot awesome without doubt.

Quest also was making Ross Risers and and when they did not get paid for them they used the riser design refined it and and started selling bows maybe left over risers and that is how they got into making bows. Anyway if you do a search here you might find more about it. Seems the guy behind Ross way back was good at engineering but great as to business practices he has bounced around for a while... But once you do a search you will find a lot more on this...

Don't know the whole story but being in Michigan I was interested. They are made Memphis MI and being also from MI anything made here got my attention.
