i can't answer your question, but I can offer this advice based on a recent experience - have a discussion with whomever you choose to build your strings, regarding your color choices. Bloodline bleeds horribly. I ordered flo green strings with gunmetal gray servings. What arrived was flo green strings with pine green servings. builder says the bloodline bleed-through is why the serving became green.

Take a look at those servings - they definitely are not anywhere near gray.

And the servings are a completely different shade of green, no doubt they used the wrong color. They still look nice though.

I've had 3 sets from Catfish Customs on my bow and put a set on a friends bow. I've been extremely happy with his build quality. I've also texted him with questions and he's happy to help.

He's earned my business unless something changes.

I've only ever heard great things about Catfish Customs. Perhaps I would have had a different experience with the Bloodline fibers if I had ordered from him instead. Communications with Phantom during the month I was waiting was delayed and irritatingly brief and unhelpful. Completely different experience than from when Crackers was making strings. If I ever decide to try Bloodline in the future, there's no question that I would order them from Catfish, based solely on the amount of great experiences others continue to mention.

My favorite is Phantom. I've used his Father's for 20 years. His Son was making them then as well. I love the Bloodline material. No waxing, no fussy.

On a side note I treat my equipment like a baby or like my life depends on it.

One important thing is tie in your peep good. If not it will move.

I use the Gas bow string method, video on YouTube

Catfish and a3 are my go to for strings. Catfish is the best imo and his communication is great. Only my second set of a3 ,and the strings and build are great, colors are spot on. Only have about 1500 shots on the a3 and they still look new. Haven’t tried catfish’s bloodline’s yet but catfish will be my next set for my carbon element. Have a3 on my lift x. Catfish on my mach 34. My buddy has catfish bloodline on his ax2 and he loves them fwiw!!!

I tried the bloodline from one of the builders mentioned here, I won't mention the name does that I don't sound like a hater. The string build was amazing, the colors pop but the first set frayed so bad after a couple of months, and thus was treating them 3 times a week. I called, sent pictures as requested and was promptly sent a replacement set, these have not been much better. Fraying and have stretched really bad,I can't keep my string dampers in place. As much as I liked the looks and performance of them, I would not spend the money on another set.

@Breathn John's Custom Archery makes the best I've used, but last time he suggested I go with 452Xtra instead because of some batch inconsistencies he was having with Bloodline. I'm not sure if that's resolved now or not.

I've got a set of Rev99 Bloodline built by him on my SR6 and they're great.

I was not happy with a set of B99 Bloodline from Swamp Donkey. Vec99 from Catfish were good but not great.

I would never buy strings from A3 after the sh*t they have pulled the last few years taking money and not fulfilling orders. I'm surprised they are still in business.
