This is the wrong section for this, but anyway, that is still cheap compared to most other states I'm familiar with.

Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, every western state, etc.

Michigan is cheaper and hunting is worst.

That depends on which part of those states you're hunting!

I live in Wisconsin, when I buck out early here, I bounce between buying tags in Missouri and Upper Michigan to extend my season. The buck sightings up there is slim but the "hunting" is so peaceful. I love the big woods experience of the U.P, well worth the money.
