Will it make a difference???

My arrows that I hunt with I have the Blazers on about 3/4" from the nock. When I re-do my arrows, I was thinking of fletching them 1" from the nock.....will a 1/4" make a difference in my arrow flight?

Personally mine are fletched 1" in front of the nock to the back of the vane but that is the way the jig was set up in the shop when I did them. Again personally I feel further back will steer the arrow better but I don't think the 1/4" will make that much difference though you could fletch one and try it first to see how it flies compared to the older fletched arrows and if it is still giving the proper vane clearance you need.
