Yes, I've done a search, but . . .

There's Sleeping Indian, King of the Mountain, Gray Wolf . . . any others I should be looking at? In the past, I've always purchased the vest (cheapest piece of the 'set') and then made a determination on quality/etc from that (yes, I've given away a vest or two).

Anyway, I'm looking at purchasing some wool camo hunting clothing and need some opinions.

I have been using the Gallatin wool made by woolrich, i think. It's cheap, rugged, washable, warm, & has been excellent for during the 6 years i've been wearing it. Cabelas & Basspro sell it.

Take a look at Cabelas Wooltimate series. I own it and King of the Mountain the Wooltimate is cheaper is softer and I really like the Cabelas Outfitter camo pattern.

I would get the day one wool in asat. The gray wolf is excellent as well but the day one is about half the price of the GW. I have both.

Not all wool is the same simply because it is wool. KOM, Sleeping Indian and Grey Wolf and a lot more and there is a reason for that. I own sleeping indian and a KOM shirt you cant go wrong with either. I had the KOM Bun lite pants but they did not hold up as well and i feel they are not worth the price.
