Does this combo work for keeping your feet warm?

I can never seem to get my feet warm. I have never used the silk liners but with wool and those stick on things you insert into your boots my feet still get cold and I am done after that.

Anyhelp?

I have redhead heavyweight merino wool socks and redhead thermolite liner socks and these are my goto combination for late seasons sits. The thermolite liner socks are basically moisture wicking liner socks, but even on their own they do a great job of keeping feet warm. The merino wool socks are the best i've owned. I need to remember to get over to basspro again one of these days and pickup a second and third pair...

Your feet get cold in the Bahamas??
I don't know since I have been wearing bunny boots for about the last 10 years my feet haven't been cold. Best $50 I ever spent.

I wear these too whenever it gets below 20 degrees. I get cold feet LONG before my buddies do. I have worn bunny boots at 25 below and my feet have stayed warm.

Silk next to akin and good quality wool over works better than anything I've found and my feet sweat pretty bad ALL the time.

Don't forget if you're sitting for extended periods, tight fitting boots will chill your feet worse than anything else. You want them to be a little loose.

Could also look into attic shield boot blankets, they can be found online or at bass pro for around $30. Pack them in and sleip your boots in them.

First thing before the socks, spray your feet with non scented Anti-perspirant spray (found at walmart or any other store) then liner socks and then merino wool. The foot spray keeps your feet from sweating and that is your #1 enemy! I suffered from the same thing for a long time and after using the foot spray my feet sty dry and warm.

I always use a sock liner then the heaviest wool's I can.....also it is important, esp. if your going to sit in a stand to get boots a size larger so the boots dont restrict circulation....normally I wear 11's...and for my cold weather boots, I'll go to a 12 or even a 13 depending on the boot and fit....I will do the liner sock then two pairs of wool's...the chemical warmers that stick on help for me also....

Absolutely, I started doing exactly that a few years ago along with a pair of good insulated rubber boots. I have no issues with cold feet at all.
100% silk socks, two good pair of 100% wool socks and keep you boots a little loose.
