Here are pics of my string and cable, they are in the neighborhood of 10 years old, but still shoot like a dream. Would you continue to use these, or get a new string and cable?
Kinda what I thought, it has gotten worse in the past 6 weeks or so. Last thing I need is for a string to break and blow up my perfectly good 12 year old Z-Max
NO way Dude, they have seen their better days. Give Ron a shout out at Extreme Bowstrings he can set you up in no time. I have been shooting his strings for 3yrs now and they are awesome and the price it perfect.
That is only a couple of frayed fibers, not even five percent of a strand. Just wax it down and shoot it for at least another 3 or 4 years. It will tell you when it needs to be replaced.
