does it matter if/how much the wrap overlaps? i got the 1" wraps for my carbons and it seems the overlap a lot. does this matter? if so, what's the best way to get them to fit better?

The companies claim that overlapping is normal, and will not affect arrow flight. Mine overlap, and I have noticed no flight problems. Just be sure that you don't glue a vane on where the very end of the wrap overlaps. Tony

I haven't noticed any difference with over-wrap. Like it was mentioned earlier, just be sure that the fletch doesn't go on the over-wrap.

You could measure or calculate the circumference of your arrow (diam x 3.14) then trim the wraps to meet, instead of overlap.
At OzCrest we custom make our wraps to suit the arrow they are to be used on and we size them to fit perfectly..
