Wrist sling without a stabilizer?

I'm setting up my new RX7 and found a nice stablizer setup using the shorty they sell with the bow and the Hoyt back bar adapter with a B-Stinger 8" stab. Everything is balanced and feels great.

Unless there's a wrist sling that doesn't get anchored by the stabilizer, is there any way other than finding a bolt that threads into the stabilizer mount to hold the wrist sling in place?

Or, is there a wrist sling that doesn't need the stabilizer to anchor it?

I have zero interest in any stabilizer in that mount....the bow is balanced beautifully for me as it is.

I'm also wondering if I really truly "need" a wrist sling. I've been shooting bows for over 30 years and I can't ever once recall a time when a wrist sling actually did anything for me....

Only "issue" is the RX7 riser has a much bigger opening in the riser, so the sling could move around a lot more than what is pictured above.

But I got a couple of ideas now to address the situation. Thanks all!

The first time your $1K bow hits the ground it will be to late to worry about WHEN it may or may not happen. Pretty Damn cheap insurance!

Rest bolt.

Yep, been using wrist strap with bolt with no stab for years. Works great.

I need to take a picture of the way I have mine. I have the long ends taped to the riser. Black riser, black tape, no one ever notices. If a camo bow, then camo tape...........

I once took a wide leather belt and made the piece for the sling. I made the center hole big enough to slip over
the quick disconnect.
A sling doesn't have to tight to anything, just there in case you drop your bow.

I put a berger bolt in it. That was the simplest, most effective answer. My sling has a leather center with braided paracord for the sling itself.

The head of the bolt was already plenty broad so no washer even needed. Just snugged it in and done.
