I like multiple pins for the fun factor. I like testing myself out to 100 yds. I like the long shots to test the arrows that I have made also. If I can see them flying true out to 60,70 yds, I know that they are a good arrow. I would never consider taking a shot that far on game.
The way that the crazy 8 is oriented, you could take a piece of tape and tape off the bottom 4 pins during hunting season.
The pins on this sight are very easy to "micro adjust" . You could even send it back to trophy ridge and get the pin colors the way you want.
