Any of you guys shooting an Apex @ 60#/29.5" AND X10 Pro Tours? According to 'On Target', the 420's + 100 grn pts @ 29" are too soft, yet the 380's are too stiff?

Any opinions?

Why 100 grain points?

I would PREFER @ least 110-120, but the 380's would still be too stiff.
Well, what's the shortest reasonable arrow you could go for?
If a 420 with 28'' bare shaft length is too short then you will need to figure out a 380 setup.
But, I'm running OT right now. Seems like with flex fletch 1.87 WITHOUT WRAPS, you could make the 380s spine right at 29'' bareshaft length and with 120 grain tungstens...

BUT before you decide, be absolutely certain your DW is exactly #60 and your DL is 29.5''. Anything less than that could lean towards 420s (more speed, less OD :))

My DL is exactly 29.5", but I'd probably turn the #'age down to 58'ish to make sure it would pass ALL FITA #'age scales. I can shoot a 28.5" arrow, but even at that, w/a 110+, a 420 is too soft according to OT. That's why I want to know if anyone has shot the 420's out of this bow.
