Well yesterday after noon we headed down to the farm tring to roost some birds for the morning hunt. And boy were we in for a surprise. By the end of the night we had around 100 birds roosted and over 20 toms. SO you got in in the morning and set up the b-moble and she moble. We got set in and alls it took was a hoot call and the ridge lit up. It was about 7 o'clock and birds started intering the feild. The first birds in the feild was a group of hens, Then a group of 7 gobblers intered. it only took a few pers and clucks and they were heading are way. It took all of about 20 minutes for the birds to comite to the coy's. They came into about 20 yards and i released the arrows. It hit the spot and the bird dropped. I am thinking this is one of the first birds shout in iowa for the 09 season...thanks
