In 2020 I decided to upgrade. My PSE Beast from the early 2000's. I went with a Drive 3B, at first I loved it, However the love was short lived. After 60ish shots I noticed it was losing speed then had a arrow not even make it to the target. I then noticed cracks running along the limb, took it to the shop they had the limb replaced in a week. Pulled it out of the case last week to get ready for deer season. Nine shots in I heard a snap while at full draw. looked the bow over and noticed a crack in a different spot same limb. I called PSE and they said typically it has to happen a third time for them to get me a new bow. I took it in had it replaced for the second time. While in the shop getting it set back up I had a third limb crack. I called PSE they said lets get the warrantee started then they changed me 396 dollars the "cost difference in price" of the 3B and NXT, then had to pay 83 dollars to ship the broken bow back. I got the NXT earlier this week right of the box problems. the cam screw had to be drilled out because the head stripped while trying to take them out to adjust the draw length, PSE again was unwilling to do anything other then send replacement parts. and would only refund me the. 396 dollars back what I spent to get the NXT and nothing back for my 3b so im almost 1000 dollars into a 6\700 dollar bow. The shop owner had seen PSE going down hill and is no longer a dealer and his son stopped shooting for them. So I ended buying a Mathews V3X and I'm much happier with that. Hopefully this post will save you from a headache like I had

Sorry to hear your Issues OP but I can assure you there are Bad bows out there from each Mfg. I have had a couple Problem children myself and I found it best for me to move on until the taste subsided. The worst was a hard cammed Mcpherson 3-d dream back in the 90's when I shot for them I sent it back 3 times for limbs put 3 sets of strings on it and just couldnt get the cam lean under control. They sent me a round wheel 3-d dream and it was one of the best shooting bows I have ever owned. Never can tell

Bought a V3X in Nov after switching to RH for the year due to shoulder surgery and it was a great bow once I found a grip I liked. I also had a EVL 34 which was a great bow once PSE got the limb deflections fixed to get rid of cam lean. I bought a LH PSE Omen this year and had issues with cam lean this time I figured out that they set the top limbs up for a RH bow so I switched them and it's shooting great. I just shoot the PSE bows much better then a Mathews.

I think the majority of us older fellows have all seen it over the years, limbs, risers cams axles, it happens to them all at some point. You will leave and it will happen again to the next brand if you shoot long enough. Live long enough and it would full circle on you. Or you will have the next brand on the market to have it happen too.

OP. Sorry to hear if true, they have always been good to my knowledge. Sure this was them and not a dealer blowing smoke up your ...... to make money off you? They do exist unfortunately.

HeavyUser. Good luck with that comment 1 of 2 brand I have broke limbs. I like the positive thinking though lol.

"I bought a Matthews and now I'll never have another bow related problem again"

🤡
They all have issues Mathew’s no different. The bearings in the cams go out all the time even on nearly new bows. Pick your poison.

It happens with every manufacturer from time to time something goes wrong a bad set of limbs (PSE Bowtech, Mathew’s, Hoyt all of the brands have gone through it with a batch and most have with a line of bows) bad bearings (Mathew’s is the one I think of most for this in ther me AVS bearings), bad finish’s or riser issues it happens. Don’t get me wrong it sucks and can put a bad taste in your mouth I waited all from January till the week before the London ASA for a set of limbs form Elite but I don’t right off a manufacturer for it usually now there are some that if you talk to dealers will say there customer service isn’t there anymore and usually the company was bought by another company and aren’t doing it the way it should then when someone gets tired of it they buy the company such as Barnett buying his company back or they will get with another company to buy it if they don’t have the money or don’t want to take the risk themselves. I just wait for things to change in that case or if it’s a line of bow I don’t shoot them. One bow that people love but always get aftermarket limbs for other the Bowtech Destroyer 350 as that was a bad line for limbs and a aftermarket company made limbs that fixed the issue. I had PSE ship a bow with the wrong handed Shims in the bow and they worked with me and the shop love the bow.

My only experience with PSE was a budget Stinger Extreme i had as a backup. It was okay 🤷‍♂️.
