Those are nice on weight for sure. I hate the flex of carbon though after using the tetherd and the timber ninja.

Those tree Styx look like an absolute nightmare to attach to a tree stand. I would get them caught on every muscadine vine the first trip out haha.

IMO that’s where the lwcg shines. The integration of products is just mind boggling to me.

As much I wanted to like my beast stand and sticks I couldn’t stand the beast stand. Long, flexed like crazy and awkward to pack. The .5 just blew it outta the water. Kept the sticks for years but these new double sticks are gunna replace them if I had to guess just for pack ability alone.
If you stacked them vertically and put a backpack between them and the stand you would have zero snag factor. As far as attaching anything to a stand I've yet to find anything as brilliant as a good ol fashioned bungee cord.

It would shock you how stiff they are. I thought for sure the carbon would flex but it doesn't. These sticks have shocked me and likely going to retire my beast sticks for good and sell my one sticks

Ya I bungle my beast sticks. No backpack though. I hate clutter and have no use for backpack filled with stuff I don’t need. I did it years ago and end bringing junk I don’t need or use. I keep 2 kifaru bags under the seat for anything I need. Prolly super minimilaist to most.

I tried the pool noodle trick on the hunting beast but it pushes the sticks to far out on the seat. Depending on how far the pack is it I will just take the stick, stand and climbing sticks back to the truck and grab the the pack out bag. Other times I keep 2 game bags under the seat and pack everything out in one shot. That’s why I think the new sticks laying flat, intergrated into the stand is gunna be a game changer for the meat shelf and pack outs.

Can you name a single high end stick or mobile hunting product that didn't have a pre order? Serious question. None come to my mind. Even the latest and greatest tree styx did a pre order.

There were sticks released way beyond deadline last year after they crowdsourced funds from a pre order, and then stocked big box stores before they shipped them to everyone who pre ordered lol.

It's the name of the game with all these smaller companies.
Trophyline Hyperlites

Reviews are out already, Will be released to masses late summer. At least trophyline doesn’t blatantly lie about release date and extend it how many times like with climber.
I must've missed the reviews can you post some links? I only got to see the ATA prototype ones.

It doesn't hurt my feelings any, the only thing I pre ordered from lwcg was a .75 and I got it in a timely fashion.
Supply chain issues are most definetly still a thing btw.

TreeStyx for the win here…

I am sure these folding double step compacts are nice sticks and they pack nice but that comes at the expensive of excessive fiddle factor with using jhooks to secure them and having to unfold and turn everything to set them on the tree. I tried many times to like the older compacts but I could not deal with that fiddle factor especially packing up at the end of the night.

Fair enough. Do they even exist though?
No and they keep pushing the date back. I heard they are having issues getting them to pass 3rd party testing but…trophyline tells you they are trying to build stock before releasing. You be the judge…

The hyperlite sticks don’t interest me one bit. I won’t use a stick with less toe room than a beast stick. That’s my floor. I also hate attachment methods that use friction hitches. You will never get them super tight like a truckers hitch or cam strap.

I guess you could use the j hooks. I’ve always used a bungle or run the tree strap over the v brackets and lock it tight. Makes it rock solid and you don’t need the j brackets.

The weight of the tree sticks looks awesome but they are gunna pack just like every other solid double stick, terrible haha. I want as streamlined and compact as possible.

also I’m a huge fan of the pivoting tree v lone wolf uses. often times I only have a top or bottom beast bracket touching the tree with the screwed up trees I hunt in the south. Up north on straight trees it prolly doesn’t matter

Ya I’ve pre ordered 3 things from lwcg and every one shipped on time. Guess I’m lucky haha

@bowhuntercoop What size kifaru bags are you using under the seat there.
I think they are the smell belt pouches if I remember correctly. I stole them off one of my older packs and mounted them under the seat platform. I know mystery ranch ones work as well because I have those on an older Lonewolf as well.

They said at ATA they had already passed testing. They say it on the archerytalk video. That's 8 months to build up stock...

feel free to search them on YouTube?
Every single review outside of The ATA show is done by a trophyline employee or a friend of an employee. I'm sure the sticks are coming. I'm just saying they aren't even out yet.

And just for comparison how long was the lwcg climber from initial expected ship date to actual ship date and they did a pre order? That’s the point I am trying to make at least they didn’t take your money as essentially as an interest free loan and blatantly lie about when you were to get it and then even after taking forever to get it they probably couldn't even bother to give you sticker or a coupon for a next to nothing off your next order. And then initial orders get sent incomplete without the seat pad. Lwcg makes some great products but all means but the what the do sales is absolutely sheet

I don't get it. Same sticks just added another swivel step on the compacts. Half the aluminum on the doubles. They use a bolt as a standoff for their doubles. A freakin bolt man. Keep patting yourself on the back LWCG and I say this as an owner of four 20" doubles and 17" compacts, several of their stands and platforms. Too many actually.
Don't get me started on the $100 extension for the climber. That's your solution?
I'm a huge supporter of LWCG but as a follower of their gear, seeing the marketing hype for these sticks has turned me off. What we need is more companies to emerge like the guys who made those Tree Styx. That's real innovation with a lot of thought put into the design.
