Is there enough room between the
blades edge and the side of the bow?
Or, does the arrow need to be a little longer so the BH is in front of the bow shelf?
That will vary depending on your bow model and center shot.

Jumping in on here. I've been using Crocs for a couple years now. I've taken 3 deer, and 1 coyote with them. 2 deer died in sight with very minimal blood. The other deer I got liver and didn't get on blood until about 40 yards away from the shot and it opened up. The coyote, I found by luck because there was zero blood trail. These heads pack a punch for sure, and like I said, I'm 4/4 with them, I just wish they left a more significant blood trail, maybe if they had bleeders? Not sure.

What size do you use? I'm going to stick with the 1.5" cut 150 or 125 grains, I don't see anything too special about the 100 grain. I shot two deer with 150s this season and I thought the blood was better than with a 3 blade 1 1/8" cut. But both fell within sight so I didn't have to follow blood.

Sorry missed that, I'd say leave it longer if possible. You might be able to play with the angle of the broadhead and depending on the bow you have make it work. It would hit the bow on my setup as I prefer the broadhead horizontal for clearance from my hand and because my left/right tune seems to be more torque dependent.

Crimson Talon Croc 100 right bevel. Did fine on this 250lbs+ KS whitetail. Horrible shot placement on my part, he was chasing a doe and I couldn’t stop him. Hard quartering away and a steep (high in tree) shot angle. Arrow went in on the right side of the deer and exited the left, proceeded to burry about 6” into the ground afterward (435gr arrow at 300fps.) Arrow hit the liver and also guts. Zero blood until we found him 40 yards from where I shot him. We used a dog the next morning. I’ll use the head again and give a better assessment on the blood trail. Not blaming the broadhead at all, I think it did exactly what it should have.
