1 piece VS 2 piece quivers

Was thinking about giving a 2 piece quiver a try this deer season for the first time, the type that bolt onto holes in your bows riser. Have always used a 1 piece, removable quiver that attaches to and over your sight. Am looking for the experience of those who have and use or used 2 piece quivers as to any down sides or disadvantages 2 piece quivers might have that 1 piece quivers do not. I hunt 100% of the time from tree stands so maneuvering could be a factor.

Thanks,
DJager/Art.

Have been using a 2 piece quiver since the Jenning Ace in the Hole quiver came out, no noise vibration like 1 piece & better grip on arrows so less chance of lost arrows being pulled from quiver, If the possibly arises for 2nd shot no need to look for quiver or arrow it is right there on the side of the bow.

I've always been a 2 pc quiver guy. Lots of guys like to take them off in the stand, but not me. I think the 2 pc are more solid and hold arrows with less vibration, and are much more "rigid". When out West hunting, I much prefer the 2 pc because I always have my arrows right at hand, and it is a very fluid motion to pull the first one and nock it. When in the stand, I like the lay the bow across my lap when sitting with the arrows resting on my legs, and one nocked. I think it helps with center of gravity vs a 1 pc as the arrows normally are tighter to the riser than many 2 pc quivers. But each person likes something different. Do what works for you and your style of hunting.

I quit mounting a quiver to my bow several years ago.
And I still don't miss it a bit.

So, I doubt that I'll ever buy another two-piece quiver.

because of my arrows being 31 inches a 2 pcs quiver holds my arrows better and quieter too,i too have used a 2 pcs quiver since the ace in the hole,i tried the new one pcs. quivers just to much arrow not secured and noisy,i have also used a hip quiver but when I am on the move elk hunting for me its best to have my quiver on the bow.my son prefers a hip quiver for elk and deer.

I don't have any experience with a 2-pc. I have always been a tree stand hunter & have used the Alpine Sof-Lok so it would easily & quietly detach. I switched to a Tight Spot for this season. It is just as quiet shooting my bow with quiver on or off now. My fixed broadheads shoot the same still with it on. Fits really snug to my bow. You can also adjust it to hold any size arrows securely. I can't imagine another quiver that could top that.
