  • 2022 ALL NEW SPECTRA E 32

The Spectra-e is the closest thing you can get to a totally balanced shooting system.
The all-new Spectra E was completely reisigned with the focus on shootability, comfort and Value. We Completely redesigned the Riser and went to a 7075 T-6511 Aluminum that is Pre-Stretched and Pre-Stressed. This ads rigidity and solidness and all but eliminated riser flex when compared to most all other bows on the market today. We then proceeded to add the wider .790" Limbs (Laminated) and Limb pockets to give the platform a very stable feel and incredible reliability on the shot. We reworked the cam to even improve on our already uncomparable smooth draw cycle while adding a 5/8" Bearing and 1/4" Axles. With more parallel limbs Darton has made a HUGE leap in compfort, feel and performance
The adjustable draw module, positive limb stops and assortment of draw stop tabs gives the shooter complete control of their draw length. The split yoke system that anchors on the axles, outboard of the limbs, totally equalize/stabilize the limbs and reduce the load on the cam bearings.

4.9 lb is not bad for a compound bow, especially for a hunting bow. There are a few heavier, most are within a half-pound on the lighter side. The weight makes the bow more stable and in less need of long stabilizers, and allows for the need of less weight on stabilizers. Archers that compete in the Bare Bow category have risers that they add weights to in order to make the bow more stable and easier to aim. I only hunt with a crossbow and have not personally shot this bow. But most people do not notice the weight with how well the bow shoots, and how smooth it feels.

Buddy got one in today and loves it! Grip is awesome and is really enjoying it so far. I def wanna check out maverick xt with the new improvements and the ability tl
Shim the cam easier. But I understand the module still blocks the string loop post which is annoying. Also it would be awesome for them to shave some weight kinda go back to the 3800 weight or alittle less

dream bow from them is a maverick xt 3.8lb with wider limbs andpockets to have a nice adjustability

I just opened a archery shop and am proud and honored to be a Darton dealer. Randy hooked us up and sent me a Spectra 32. Its pretty impressive guys. I feel this bow definitely will help get Darton relevant again. Jimmy Lutz shooting for them is also great. Anyways if you're around the SE area of PA I have one in stock!

My local shop just got his second Spectra E 32 in. Very quite bow. Balances amazing. But heavy.

The only negative, which isn't in the long run, is that the OD Green is a lot more like light grey with some green tint. Not really the deep Olive we were expecting, but still looks good.

I am very tempted to order the new maverick xt bow but I don’t get how the new pre stretched strong aluminum doesn’t allow them to shave material and still have a strong frame

Shot one today and bow felt awesome!!!!!! Really did feel good and held even better on target! I think the e system is cool but not my cup of team but over all A+ on this bow

The riser does barrow from the technology found in barebow risers, in the way its weight is placed and the actual weight to make the bow more stable and to naturally dampen vibrations. This makes it have a really great feal for a compound bow. Its weight is no accident but is purposefully engineered for greater stabilization with short stabilizers, dampeners, or weights. Of course, you can use long stabilizers to if desired. Granted it is no speed demon but does have plenty of speed for good arrow trajectories 20 yards to 40 yards. Excellent for hunting. At 50M will require some arch in the shot, but so do target compound bows that are purposefully engenered for maximum accuracy at 50 M. with the equalizer yokes nothing will be as smooth as this bow. It is one of Darton's greatest patents. The bow is extremely quiet for a compound bow. I am sure an alerted animal will hear it unless there is a lot of regular ambient noise in the area. It is a reeally great bow.

I really liked the simplicity of the Maverick versions ( the ll and XT) . I think mod cam bows store better energy and perform better at each draw length. Rotating mods are just much more convenient. I’ve noticed that with the yoke system on the e cam that arrow spine is not nearly as critical as what you will see with some cams that fight lateral tears because of spine and cam reaction. Never had any issues with the rollers , but I think it’s always on your mind as a potential. I did have a couple Spectra cams that get really close to contact between the mod/cable stop and the let out side of the yoke harness. In those cases I just shimmed away from the contact and used the yoke for make up on the lean.

I had two spectra e when they first came out one had a lose cam bearing issue that made the bow very unforgiving and had two when u added twist to the right yoke they would draw right past the stops. They need to look at their deflections alittle better I feel in the hands of humans I have had to twist the yokes or shim the cams right to clean up right tears on the newer bows.

Just shot the 2022 Spectra-E. What a massive improvement this bow is, and that's probably an understatement.

The draw cycle is as linear as can be with no dump. The grip is fantastic. The shot is "dead in hand".

Very well done Darton!!
