Was wanting to buy the new StrikeX but wasn't available yet so decide to try the SoleX. Received it today from Black Ovis and hadu to try it right away.
First draw almost punch my teeth out, ok must not have had the trigger set. Second draw same thing ***!!! Try a few more times staying alway from my face same thing about halfway threw my draw. Now started turning the set screw in to increase tension until it wouldn't fire back off a half a turn and still would pull through a 40lb on a scale.
Can't believe they could send a product out being so dangerous. I own 20 year old Scott's that never miss fired!
Needless to say it going back.

Just got a Solex for my Wife a few weeks ago based on a number of recent AT reviews... I put a couple dozen arrows through it and it was flawless. I haven't been at this very long so my experience is limited but this release has the nicest, most crisp break I've tried. Very confidence inspiring too.

Last week I enquired via email about availability of youth-sized straps, and they replied with a request for my phone # if I was interested in ordering. I sent them my #, and they called within hours & took my order.

I am very happy with their company at this point.

I have the same problem with both of my xtinctions 2s, it cost me on of the largest black bears i've ever seen, and ive seen and killed many! Many times during practice my arrow has gone flying and or the bow, I thought maybe the new solex would be better. Problem is every so often the hook doesn't close completely allowing me to get enough tension on the string to send a arrow flying 10 or so yards when it lets go

Just picked up a solex in the classified and I took it out to shoot before. Took the tension screw to the point where it was off the tension spring and adjusted the travel a little in both direction to very little to a lot. On my 60lb bow I can’t get the damn thing to fire unless I pull the trigger to the point of the release torquing the d loop. Tried numerous setting changes on both screws in and out. Is this release that hard? I shoot a b3 hawk regularly which is light yesrs lighter than this. Does anyone think there is something wrong with the tension end or is this just an e trembly hard release. Thanks

You probably got an older model that has "the problem". So did I in early May......bought one "nearly new" that was so stiff on a string trainer I could barely get it to fire. Contacted Stan and they send an RA# to send it back. They had it back in less than 2 weeks with a new head on the same wrist strap.....a "1st generation issue" that they took care of. I would contact Stan and get your fixed or repaired ASAP.

I've been trying out a Sole X with strap connection for a couple weeks now and I am loving it. I've had no issues. I shot it for a week on the factory setting and since, I have turned the tension screw a half turn to make it heavier. I am using back tension to release it. Accuracy is great.I am alternating between it and my Carter Wise Choice and anchor point is the same and accuracy is the same.

It’s an old post but I had to comment. In your “40” years you never experienced anything like this? Maybe just maybe you use some type of drawing aid, one purchased or one made, then you’d know that it was set way to light and could have adjusted without punching yourself in the teeth. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have 3 older Stan SX3's and they have been flawless for several years. Then suddenly there is a rash of posts on AT with folks having issues..... apparently the company was sold? Machining and CS are both very much in play for repeatable quality. You can bet Lancaster will be reaching out if they get a flow of returns on the new wrist models. I hope it is a fluke, but we have seen in before with a variety of successful archery companies that were bought out. :cautious:
