Any truth that Mathews has issued a “recall” to certain serial number bows and that the limbs going out as replacements now are “fixed”?

Just got mine replaced.
I have a question for you. When I got my bow back from shop the lettering on the limbs where all put in the same direction both top and bottom with LIFT written on the inboard of bow which is not how it comes from factory.

When I questioned them, they said that Mathews sent "8" (I'd say 4) new limbs and marked them with the specific position for each to go in, so thats what they did. This is how the lettering ended up.

I'm suspicious if I'm just getting told a line becuase I called them out on the details. I really don't want to be but my OCD is keeping me from believing them. I do think it's possible for Mathews to specify positions but not when it would make the lettering different than factory assembly.

I would really like to know if when you had your limbs replaced, the letters ended up the same as mine. Also, is it true that mathews would specify limb position?

Love Mathews but this limb issue has seriously made me look at other brands. Darton or Xpedition may be my next venture now that Athens folded. Maybe another Hoyt but we will see what the RX-? Looks like for 2025. I do hope Mathews figures it out. The lift is a great bow, i just can’t pull the trigger on a possible lemon. Some are on their 3rd or 4th set… For their loyal customers sake I hope they do recall those limbs. They need to do some serious damage control. The Mathews brotherhood FB group is riddled with limb posts. Thats all you really see on that page now.

Totally agree and thought the same about this being an indicator. Seems they are are just sending out limbs to achieve a specified deflection and disregarding the appearance. The only reason I think they would do this is a shortage of limbs that meet both the deflection requirements and correct logo placement.
I will reach out to Mathews and let the forum know what they say.
Hopefully, I can convince the shop to get a new set that looks right.
Cone to think of it, I had limb issues with a BT BTX-31 and when they sent out replacment limbs, they didn't even have the bow's model name on them like the original ones did. They just said Bowtech and those letters all faced the same way. Maybe this is what we all can expect for warrantee replacment limbs.
Still curious what MbatsonZ7's limbs look like.

I had an Obsession back in 2016 about long enough to enjoy a cup of coffee. I bought one set of strings from Catfish Customs that bow ruined and Obsession sent me two sets as they were being ruined. One set of limbs I received on opening day of the season so I didn't get to hunt the morning. Also three sets of cams.

The stock cams had "Fuel the Obsession" in white etched into the cam. By the time we got to the third set they were just plain black with no labeling.
