Yeah pretty much! I got them at Tractor Supply.
They smell teeeerrible haha

 

How hard was it to pull arrows out??

 

Not horrible! But you might need to unscrew the point from time to time.

 

Um....one misfire and you hit that heatpump or ac unit and you'll wish you spent 7k on a an indoor shooting lane. You may want to rethink the location.

Looks good. Is the second mat necessary, or only for your extra precaution since the house is behind the target? On my list of things to make.

 

More for extra protection. Makes it heavier too. I am going to follow another's posters recommendation and move it away from the AC unit.

 

I would move it away from the house all together.
