I normally use acetone to clean my arrows and fletchings before gluing, but what do you use to clean the wraps? Acetone will wipe away the graphics. I learned this the hard way.:(

Cleaning prep...

I've spoken with som manufacturers and this has worked for me...
For cleaning shafts for wraps isopropel alcohol works well and completely evaporates and does not leave any residue. For cleaning the wrap prior to bonding the fletch you just need to remove and oilly residue you may have put on it via your hands. The wrap surface will accept adhesives very well. Isopropal works well for this top and will not damage the wrap.

For fletching ... If you are using a solvent based adhesive like Fetch-Tite, cleaning the fletch with acetone is suggested and works well.
If you are using CA or instant glue acetone will leave an acidic residue that may not yield the best adhesion for that type of glue. For CA I use soapy water... be sure to rinse well

Hop[e it helps...:)

I just wash the arrow with dish soap and water rinse it well and let dry. I then apply the wrap, I then just wipe the wrap down with a clean white paper towel (dry). Then I use Arizona Archery's quick set gel. Never had a problem.
