To give you an example, I lengthened the ata of a Mathews TRG from 38" to 39" and it went from maxing at 70lb. to maxing at 60lb. Just what I was looking for.

 

Way, way to many variables/unknowns to say anything other than it will decreases peak weight. Different styles of limbs, limb pocket angles, degree of limb preload, etc. all make potentially enormous differences from bow to bow. Ultimately, just a guess and check procedure.

 

I have a predicted change.
i will test and report.

option 7 with ritual cams and 33 strings.

 

1 inch change in ata = 10 lbs less for max lbs.
still tuning it...
initial set up was...
the holding weight - high
and ata - small.
