I use a kuiu icon pro. I ride a qaud with a bow and a lock on stand on my pack, then hike the rest of the way in. I love it, it's one of the best investments I've made for hunting. I'd say any pack that you can organize and carry everything you need is just an added bonus for hunting. Everyone hunts differently, so a certain pack won't fit everyone's specific needs. I recommend checking a few packs out before making the purchase.

I don't really want to have my bow on the bike. I know a couple guys that use those kids trailer things behind there bikes, but I got a couple of spots that I'll have to walk or carry the bike for about 10-20 yards because it's too muddy to ride thru with hunting stuff

I mountain bike 2-3 days a week here in CO, my preference is on my pack. I consider it safer for me and my bow.
Variety is the spice of life. You like it on your back. The guy who invented the scabbard didn't like it on his back. He has thousand of customers who prefer it on their bike. To each their own.

Stands will be setup, so it's just a pack with basic gear and my bow.

There seems to be a thousand packs that'll do what you need...
That said,99% of them suck.

Between backcountry hunting and shed hunting,I have a weighted pack on for months out of the year so I consider myself a bit of a pack snob.
I can even look at junk packs like Badlands and other mainstream stuff.

Even if you're not packing stands or packing out quarters I'd still opt for a higher end frame like Stone Glacier or Kuiu.
You can find them used, they'll certainly carry you bow and all your gear and if you ever need to haul some weight that'll be no problem either.

Insights makes the best Bow Backpack on the market. Insights multi weapon pack
I do like how the insights seems to protect the bow better than most. I wonder how it feels with the bow between your back and the pockets as this is opposite of most designs

If the scabbard was a benefit in biking camelback hydration/gear packs would be mounted to bikes. I am guessing they sell more than a few thousand;-)

I'm not Kuiu's biggest fan, but I really like the way their bow holder protects the cam in a fall. It's not uncommon to have your feet slide out and end up landing on your butt.

Packs are going to come down to personal preference, but I can tell you one to avoid like the plague: Redhead Primal Bow/Rifle pack.

The old saying of "you get what you pay for" holds true here. After three seasons the thing is falling apart on me. Only one big pocket and a couple small ones so everything is poorly organized. The sleeve on it holds a rifle well, but is worthless for a bow, and several of the straps have frayed or broke off. I'll be going to a badlands, Tenzig, or similar this year.

bowsnatcher.com will work on any pack.
then just have a primos bow sling on it and a pin cover and it will be protected great.
