I was down town today loooking at back packs today and was a bit disapointed when I seen the tag on some of the Badlands Packs. Made in Tawian did I find some forgeries today. Can any one shed any light on this subject, I was under the impression that all Badlands Packs were made in the US.:sad::sad::sad::sad:day. I guess I will have keeplooking for another Pack I thought all Badland packs were made in the USA where men and women need to work. Companies Like Eblerstock and Blacks Creek Guide Gear are made in the USA in my state IDAHO Caldwell and Boise Hip Hip Hooray for American made products.

Since our government would rather tax the hell out of US busineses instead of trying to help them, you can expect more of this in the future . . .

I hate to change the topic or anything but we now create ideas in America. You can't just get buy with a high school diploma any more. It sucks but thats the way it is. Ideas are now the objects that spur economic development. Smart people designing smart things to make our lives better.

We don't make t-shirts anymore because if we did we could never buy them for $20. We would be paying 50% more for all of the goods that we buy. So now its time to get smart and invent something. Use your minds guys and this world will be a better place!

that may be true, but it's that line of thinking that sent ALL the jobs over seas. For the US economy to truly recover, we may have to start paying $30 for a t-shirt, and bring the jobs back to the US. Even though, now, you're paying $20 for a t-shirt, in all reality, you are paying the $30 since your taxes are going to pay for someone sitting on there azz, waiting for a check from the govt.

I know there is a lot of stuff out there made out of country thanks to a few of our countries dealings but times are tuff we the people need as many American jobs as possible because our country is going down hill fast take a look at the DOW and the Stock Market and get ready for the great depression all over again.

FYI....

I know of two brands of hunting packs that are made in the USA...

MYSTERY RANCH
http://www.mysteryranch.com/s.nl/c.999464/sc.8/.f

SOP Hunting Gear
https://sophuntinggear.com/Products/HornHunter/HornHunterPacks/tabid/1018/Default.aspx

I've owned SOP "Horn Hunter" packs... they are very nice. The MR packs are "Elite" quality packs... way nicer than Eberlestock and Badlands, but really pricey. You get what you pay for though....

Badlands, Eblerlestock and most others are made in Vietnam, Tiawan or other SE Asia countries. You will almost NEVER see packs made in China.
