For 3D, you want something "fast enough" and 32-38" ATA... My suggestion is take what ever bow you have now, hit a few local events and strike up conversations with other shooters. Ask them how/why they chose the bow they're shooting.... In most cases, folks might even let you try them. This is a HUGE part of the marketing strategy for my shop... I go to events talk to folks and show off my bows.

When you have specific bow in mind, then come back here an seek input on that particular bow. A generic question like you asked is way to broad for anyone to give you valid advice without knowing more information.
