Nexcam Axis chair. I have bought them all including Millennium and nothing is close to as comfortable and quiet is this chair. It is the only hunting chair the both swivels and rocks. Check it out

Have you seen the Waldrop seat? I just got mine. May just be the ticket for you. Until you hold it and wear it on your back, you can't begin to appreciate the lack of weight and bulk. It's unique. I think I can do short sits in mine. It's not a G100 but the portability is spot on. You can use it as a stand alone chair or against a tree as well which is a nice feature.
Is the quality and sturdiness inline with what they charge for that seat?

They have a ton of hype, I'm sure for good reason, but 225 + 50 shipping for a chair that doesn't offer any height adjustment or swivel I'm out. I'm still waiting for a truly good mobile hunting chair.
When it comes to anything I look at the price and what else I can buy for the same price.

I don't like a chair that has arms. Sure, arms are great for comfort but are aways in the way when maneuvering.

IMO it's build quality is excellent. It's rock solid and should last a long time. I know when you look at it online it may not appear that way but it's the real deal. I'm cutting a small foam cushion for mine to flatten out the seat shape. I tried out a few thicknesses and i think I have it perfect. Very close to the lone wolf hang on cushion size. I might add one of those to the setup. Should be all I need to make it comfortable for me. How i plan to use the seat is for long walks I can sit some and stand some and be mobile. The lean on tree/ or stand alone seat feature, the lack of weight and bulk, the carry system all make it a very nice option.

The light weight and pack ability is what appeals to me. Due to spine issues I have to cart stands a gear in, I can only carry in on my back seats. Are you hooking up an XOP or LWCG harness too it?

On sale now for $90 at Midway.

Alps makes good stuff. Seems like a ridiculous price cut so I'd be wondering on that  but who knows. In general most chairs I tried over the years swivel just fine with no noise. Seat material lasts a long time typically. I have $59 cabelas chairs in the woods for 10 years. The creaking in the legs is the most common problem when and if you shift your weight. You wouldn't think a little creak is a big deal but in the woods at bow range it becomes a complete disaster.
