What is everyone running for trail cameras these days? I've been out of the whitetail game for a while being up in Alaska. Moving back east this fall and jumping heavy back into it. Things I'm looking for are durability, battery life, photo/video quality, and maybe wifi on a few. I've seen alot of ads for Exodus trail cameras on the web, are they any good? I figured someone here has got to have experience with them.

Researched cell cams about a year ago. Landed on Cuddeback CuddeLink system. They have been great. Up to 24 cams on one $10/mo cell plan. Pic quality is outstanding. I added to solar panel, so the first cam I bought has been running almost a year without issues. Responsive customer support.

I am running 5 Bushnell Impulse cell cameras and Loving them !!! lots of awesome Options GPS tracking etc...the four brown Bushnell video trail cameras are from 2009 2010 still working fine after 9-10 years..and the small little one takes the best Video.
I only run Black out or NO glow cameras after bad experiences with low glow and mature bucks ..so all theses are NO glow
I really like the APP for my Iphone .. CS has been fantastic ..give Bushnell Impulse a try I think you will be really impressed
with them I am ..

I started with a cheap Primos that was pretty decent, but only took four AA's and didn't run long run time in the woods. Shifted to a Covert and it did well with daytime pix....night photos were duds. From there I bought a couple Stealth that take pretty good day and night pix, but they are super sensitive and I got over 5k photos on one SD card before the batteries died......most of them of rustling ferns and moving branches. My past few have been Browning, which I am quite impressed with. I just bought a new Browning Defender 940 with wifi from Midway USA and just unboxed it last night....definitely some reading to do. For my Christmas present from my wife, I found a used Spartan cell cam that I haven't put out yet on our property. When I get my plot work for fall 20 completed, I hope to get some real time photos.

Read reviews on Trailcampro and go from there! I’m switching mine over to no glow cams as they are less abrasive to deer. The last several I’ve bought have been Brownings and I‘m very happy with video quality and length of battery life. I’ve got 13 cams, Bushnell, Primos, Moultrie and Browning. The only one I wouldn’t recommend is the Moultrie M50, difficult to set up and battery life especially on video is horrible.

Had 2 of the Moultee M50i cameras just die recently. After quite a few brands, I'm done with cheap cameras. Ordered a Reconyx Hyperfire 2, guess we'll see what all the hype is about :)

What is Best is Subjective to the User some like Pic others Video others want both, some want high resolution but most are just pic users. Some have better Bat life and some this year have other new Solar Power Paks so might be less battery eaters.
Seen A friend's 2 Reconyx XR6 gone in for Service, so they are no immune to issues.
It is what you want as fast shutter and or recovery many things to know before you pick any Cam. Some only use 6 bats others 8 just need to check each brands website to see what features each model offer, like some offer video but limit video time length some longer some with 1920 x 1080 others only 720 x 1080 etc... Sent the OP a PM Some Black flash others red.

I was loving my ridgetec lookout for the 20 seconds it was on the tree and working. I run all different cameras mostly bushnell and reconyx. None are cell cams. This was the first cell cam I have tried and I literally put it on the tree, it started beeping loudly and a blue light started flashing, I took it off the tree to see what was going on with it and it was dead. I put new batteries in it and nothing.

Sooo waiting on costumer service to get back with me at some point, and how they handle it will decide my review but not real high of hopes with what happened but I get it sometimes you get a dud but I usually throw my cameras all in a pack and just because this thing was so expensive I carried it all over until I found the perfect freaking tree then that happens!!!

It did have super easy set up and took 1 clear picture while it was on the tree, and it had service where my cell phone did not have service so I do have some hope for it, if they can figure out what's wrong with it or send me a new one.
