Mine is at the shop but I'm waiting on the 26" module; the current module is 26.5. It's set at 60#. I shot several arrows that weighed 312 gr. and was pleased with how it shot. Speed was in the low 290s (it's a slow one!). I asked if it would be safe to shoot my 282 gr. Lightspeeds and the expert technician said, "Yep," and I got 306 and 303 fps....couldn't believe it!!!

Great little bow.:thumbs_up

Our dealer called us tonight, that my wifes Equalizer FINALLY came in this late afternoon. We will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon at 4pm, and will IMMEDIATELY run it through the paces, and post it for your info. Her draw length is 25", and will be testing it at 50# with a 250gr arrow.

binary cams

I used to shoot one, but after having numerous cable eating problems and other issues, had to go to something a bit more dependable. Smoothness was not a redeeming quality, as was noise and vibration, but if speed is the ultimate goal, well, its there. I have found that if you finally grt your bow drawn and miss, it doesnt matter how fast you missed.

got the wifes LH camo 29# 25 1/2 DL , BC was 257 fps /150 grain arrow , she will be shooting Navs at a made up weight of around 210 so the speed will be down a bit , but her UT is only going around 195 , so this is gonna be a whole different world for her ;) ......... as far as noisy , vibrating , cable eating , as in a previous post , only thing I can compare to is my 05 OG , that now has thousands of shots thru it , and , well , absolutely no shock , no vibration , no cable - string - or serving wear , the peep still hasnt moved from the day I set it up , Did I mention no noise ?? .... Yep , that means I am completely happy with mine :) , not saying someone else mite not have had a prob

And you claim to be a Bowtech dealer and dislike Binary cams, best of luck, you'll be lucky to sell the Diamond line. :thumbs_do

I just find it ironic that a Bowtech dealer would put down the only cam that Bowtech produce then start another thread 'selling' the virtues of the Whisper Creek Bow range. I suggest he produces some evidence as to the cable eating qualities as this seems to fly in the face of the other 10 or so positive reports. Why did his Equaliser eat cables, when no one else has reported it? Why does he state its noisy when others claim it is quiet? I understand the smoothness issue can be subjective, and what is meant by 'other issues' if you are going to criticise be prepared to back it up. And Daniel Boone, it is the honesty of his opinion that I'm questioning and have every right to do so.

Negativity

Negative threads like this is why a lot of people stay off of AT.

Everyone has their own opinion, but sometimes they just need to keep them to their selves. Especially when the thread is talking good about a bow or company.

Speed does not kill, but speed and accuracy together are just deadly!!!

Widowmaker300 - I continue to be amazed at people who post such as you who think because a bow is fast that they are inaccurate. The corollary of your argument is that if everyone wants to shoot 300, all they need is to get the slowest bow possible, then they will not miss. Oh well, I guess you have never had a slow miss... I see lots of them everyday, but not from my bows.

It is interesting that someone claiming to be a BowTech dealer spends half his posts on negative comments re: BowTech. I've not heard of any Binary cam bows eating cables. Maybe he needs some help in setting them up, properly.

DB, I get the impression you know widowmaker. Why not legitimize him with a shop name?
